Recap turns any monday.com board into a clean, readable status report — the kind you actually send to a client or a manager — without copying anything into a slide deck.
Open it as a board view. It reads the items, groups and status columns already there. Nothing to configure.
One click writes a short paragraph describing what the numbers show and what needs attention.
The report is laid out for print. Export it and send it — no screenshots, no reformatting.
When you press Write summary, Recap sends a compact digest of the board — the board name, the counts, the status labels and the names of recently updated items — to our service, which asks a large language model (Claude, by Anthropic) to describe it in a few sentences. The model is instructed to stick to the numbers it is given and not to invent anything.
The digest is used to produce that one paragraph and is not stored. Board content is never written to a database. See the privacy policy for the detail.
Recap asks for one scope: boards:read. It reads; it never writes to your boards,
never changes an item, and never deletes anything.
